More Than Co-Founders—Friends First
Clasona was born from a shared vision of three African Trinity College graduates—Dirceu Boca, Yves Semana, and George Abot—problem solvers at heart, innovators by nature. Their journey began in college, where they took computer science classes together, bonded over a love for technology, and challenged each other to think beyond the classroom.
During the summer of 2021, they became roommates, spending time together, deepening their friendship, and sharing experiences that would unknowingly lay the foundation for something greater. While business wasn’t the focus back then, the trust and camaraderie they built during that time would later become the cornerstone of Clasona.
The Beginning of a Dream:
On July 30, 2024, that vision became reality. Clasona was officially founded—a bold step driven by innovation and a deep commitment to delivering tailored, high-impact technical solutions. Just weeks later, on September 14, we signed our first contract, marking the beginning of our journey to redefine how businesses leverage technology.
2025: Growth, Expansion
As Clasona gained momentum, we knew it was time to think bigger. From January 9-12, 2025, our founding team gathered in Austin for our first-ever team retreat. In those few days, we made a defining decision: to expand beyond borders and establish Clasona in Rwanda—a move that would solidify our global mission.
By January 30, 2025, Clasona Ltd was officially registered in Rwanda, opening new doors for innovation and collaboration. That same day, we sent out our first job offer, welcoming Obed Niyigena as our Head of Operations in Rwanda—a key milestone in our expansion.
Moving Forward
But beyond the dates and milestones, Clasona’s story is about people—our clients, our team, and the businesses we empower. Every project we take on is an opportunity to create something transformative, to push the boundaries of what’s possible, and to build solutions that make a lasting impact.
What started as a friendship between three college students has grown into something bigger than they ever imagined. And this is just the beginning. The future of Clasona is being written every day, and we invite you to be a part of it.
